On September 18, 1961, Pedro José Vela Torres , a magistrate specializing in commercial law, was born in Pozo Alcón, in the Sierra de Cazorla region in Jaén . He exercises his function in the First Chamber of the Supreme Court (TS).
Upon finishing his law degree, he decided to prepare for competitive examinations for the Judicial Career , which he won in 1986. He was in the Courts of Pozoblanco, Alcalá la Real and Córdoba. Since 2006, he has practiced in the Provincial Court of Córdoba until he acceded to the Civil Chamber of the TS.
Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Córdoba.
